Meet Randy Solecki – Salesman at Anderson Air Corps
Randy joined Anderson Air Corps in 1987, with eighteen years of employment experience in Indianapolis. Prior to joining Anderson Air Corps, Randy received factory training on equipment, attended local vocational schools and utility company seminars, and became a licensed installer and service technician. He also gained experience in sheet metal fabrication, project supervision, calculated heating & cooling loads and air flows, system design and equipment selection.
At Anderson Air Corps, he has continued the expansion of industry knowledge and always stays on top of industry changes, trends, certifications and more. His main goal in his work is to keep people comfortable—cool in the summer and warm through the winter. He approaches his job with the fundamental principles of in-depth problem solving, providing accuracy in estimates, continuing his education and training regularly, and offering customers options that best fit their needs. Customer education is also a cornerstone of his career. As the heating and cooling industry is constantly moving forward, Randy works to educate both potential and existing clients on industry changes.
As a salesman at Anderson Air Corps, Randy has the opportunity to truly assess and meet a client’s need. Initially, he meets with and learns the needs of each individual customer, including homeowners, commercial property owners, and tenants. He assesses the problem, offers options, and provides an accurate estimate. He follows the sale through every step by setting up the job file, requisitioning the equipment and reviewing the scope of work for the job supervisor. After installation, he will follow up and make sure all work was done properly, and is available to answer any questions a customer may have. In this manner, he sees a job from start to finish.
He also works as an Estimator, and in this role, he works on both new installations and replacements. For new installations, his responsibilities include calculating heating and cooling loads and air flows, selecting proper equipment and performing system design work for duct installation. For replacements, he inspects existing equipment, its air distribution system, and the structure it serves. On each job, he obtains necessary measurements and related information in order to prepare and present an accurate job quote.
To ensure that he’s always on top of his job, Randy takes part in ongoing industry training to keep ahead of the curve in heating and cooling, and always strives to deliver quality installations and follow up services.
